This is the Ultimate M-5 Tuned Engine & Ultimate 2142-F Pipe Combo.
The M-5 engine is a 5 port engine, long-stroke, tuned crankshaft and has been configured for all those drivers who look for a powerful and linear engine with good power at both low and high R.P.M. It stands out an oversized cooling head to improve performance at high temperatures and it is easy to tune. The Ultimate M-5 makes excellent bottom end power, and is an excellent choice for 1/8 buggies and trucks This engine includes a R7 conrod made from super light aluminum and designed to create the least amount of turbulence inside the engine. The sleeve has 5 transfer ports to create a linear power output and to keep fuel consumption low. The tuned crankshaft is manufactured with a larger bore intake to increase the mixture flow, and has a special shape to optimize gas-flow in the engine. The rear bearing has a outer diameter of 25.80mm and has been used in order to avoid ring distortion and to increase lifespan. The two needle, slide valve, nylon body carburetor features a standard design that allows the use of interchangeable venturi's to tune for any track condition.
PIPE
The EFRA 2142 provides a precise and linear throttle response in high RPM range with a great top end speed. This pipe set will provide great power and speed at high RPM.
This 2142-F pipe comes with the FAST-LOCK system for connecting the exhaust pipe to the manifold without the pipe/manifold springs. This FAST-LOCK connecting system is stronger and safer than the traditional springs system, it ensures perfect pipe-manifold alignment and improves engine performance.
Assembly and operation is very easy. The manifold is fixed to the pipe by turning a quarter turn. The manifold comes with an inner silicone O-ring and an outer silicone gasket that ensures a perfect sealing. We suggest lubricating the O-ring/gasket with a drop of after run oil when assembled for the first time.
This exhaust system includes the pipe, the manifold with O-ring and gasket seals, 2 medium springs, 2 long spring and 1 manifold gaskets.
