The ultra-high-strength metal geared shaft transmission system is at the heart of the PTG-2R, all-metal construction from the aluminium centre shaft through to the steel crown and pion gears and internal small bevel gears/differential planetary gears. These professional spec competition gear differentials, provide transmission system durability beyond imagination.
The large-capacity and long-stroke aluminium oil filled adjustable shock absorbers, and the 10mm large-diameter and long-stroke are optimized for super silky smooth suspension and bump handling. The overall height of the car can reach 22~25mm if required for even the most extreme rally terrain.
Fully ballraced throughout, CVD driveshafts and high-strength spring steel hinge pins front and rear.
Aluminium 6061 alloy chassis at the base, complete with a kick-up front design, optimized for performance.
The newly designed suspension assembly, new steering block and front/rear hubs are in an new material providing super durability. The steering system is also designed with a built-in servo saver mechanism optimized for tension whilst protecting your steering servo
Quick access to the front and rear gearboxes, which are easy to disassemble and assemble, which saves valuable maintenance time and more time on the rally course!!
The equipment needed to be purchased separately is all compatible with standard 1/10 equipment. It is recommended to use a low profile servo (but a standard servo can be used). The gear pitch is 48dp with a standard 3.175MM shaft diameter/24T. It is recommended to use a 540 size motor (no more than 3652 size). Transmitter, receiver, electronic speed controller, rally bodyshell, suitable battery pack and charger also all required

In addition to the standard PTG-2 kit the "R" spec includes the following option parts
