Knight Customs MX Dakar conversion set

The MX Dakar conversion set for the Losi Promoto MX. This conversion set lets you convert a Losi Promoto MX to a Dakar rally style bike. This set has been designed to be as durable as possible if the filament recommendations are followed - However, due to the design of the exposed light pod please do not expect this conversion to be as durable as a stock Promoto MX. 

Light pod can accept LEDs

Installation: To improve durability we recommend using the standard Losi front mud guard, shock shields and handlebar guards (sold separately). To make the front screen, we provide a template to cut from 1mm Lexan sheet (sold separately).

You will also need the following screws:

2 - Hex head M2x8mm

4 - Button head M3x6mm

5 - Button head M3x10mm

2 - Countersunk M4x10mm

1 - Button head M4x20mm

1 - Button head M4x25mm

To install: Remove all stock panels. The main Dakar body panels mount using the stock screws in the stock mount points. The front light pod clicks into place and is retained with the TPU mount screws to the light bod and the body panels with 4 Button head M3x10mm screws. The skid plate requires you to replace 4 stock screws. Use 2 Countersunk M4x10mm at the front of the skid. A Button head M4x20mm used on the lower left side, you will need to use a Button head M4x25mm to mount the skid and the exhaust on the right side. The exhaust is in 3 parts and its important to use TPU parts to mount and connect the exhaust together. The exhaust mounts to the right side gas tank with 2 smaller Hex head M2x8mm screws and 1 Button head M3x10mm with the flexible TPU plate. Finally, the light pod screen needs to be cut from 1mm Lexan (or clear plastic bottle as an alternative) using the included template and mounts to the light pod using 4 Button head M3x6mm.
